OFFICE OF THE TOWN MANAGER

Robert A. Peabody, Jr., Town Manager

As your Town Manager, it is a pleasure and honor to serve the Town. Bridgton is a truly special place and it is my objective to strive to preserve those aspects of the town you, the citizens, cherish. This task is made easier by the dedicated elected officials, board and committee members, and volunteers, who willingly give their time and energies to provide effective leadership and governance of the town.

The Town is fortunate in attracting and keeping a capable and committed town staff. Their level of dedication and professionalism insures that town policies are executed and enforced, that our roads are maintained and safe, that our citizens and their property are protected, that there are varied recreational opportunities, that the town is friendly to and supportive of business, that Bridgton is actively planning for its future and that the Town Office is a helpful, friendly place to conduct town business.

Georgiann M. Fleck, Deputy Town Manager

My philosophy as Deputy Town Manager for the Town in which I live and work is to assure that customer service is at the forefront of my daily life. It is important to recognize that in this day and age with electronic resources the personal connection is still very important to our citizens. I take whatever time is necessary to discuss issues and concerns, do necessary research and respond timely and accordingly. My eyes and ears are also open to my surroundings to identify issues that need to be addressed and/or recognize and acknowledge a job well done! I feel my tenure with the Town has given me an approachable reputation which as Deputy Town Manager I embrace. My overall goal is to work with Citizens, Business Owners, Department Heads and Employees to improve services and partner with the Town Manager to coordinate and improve daily operations and functions of the Town.

We welcome feedback from the community. Please feel free to call, email, text or stop by our offices.
