PUBLIC NOTICE
With high winds and heavy rain and then flash freezing this evening there is the potential for flooding and power outages. The Bridgton Community Center, although not technically designated as a warming center, is open to the public today (207-647-3116 for information). The Town Office is open, most retail stores are open in the area for last minute shopping and restaurants are open when you want to take a break. Our departments are monitoring the storm not only today but all weekend and its impact on our area and will take necessary steps when, and as needed, including shelter options.
Please be advised that the Transfer Station will be closed for the holidays on the following dates:
Saturday, December 24th, they will be closing at noon time.
Sunday, December 25th, Christmas Day – will be closed all day.
Sunday, January 1st, New Year’s Day – will be closed all day.

The Bridgton Transfer Station is CLOSED today, Sunday December 18th due to no power. We apologize for any inconvenience.

The Bridgton Appeals Board will conduct a Public Hearing at The Bridgton Town Office, Three Chase Street, Suite 1, Bridgton, Maine on Thursday December 1, 2022 beginning at 5:00p.m. to consider the following:
An Administrative Appeal filed by Alison Bailey, from the Bridgton Planning Board’s Decision dated July 5, 2022 of the Camp Woodlands/11 Camp Woodlands Rd application for a Subdivision, located at 11 Camp Woodlands Rd, Bridgton, Maine 04009, known as Bridgton Tax Map 6 Lot 40.
The application is available for viewing at the Bridgton Town Office by appointment only. All interested individuals are invited to attend at the above place and time to present any legal argument concerning the decision of the Planning Board.

A Variance Appeal filed by Jerome Guthro, located at Portland Rd, Bridgton, Maine 04009, known as Bridgton Tax Map 10 Lot 3-1 & 3-2.
The application is available for viewing at the Bridgton Town Office by appointment only. All interested individuals are invited to attend at the above place and time.
Beginning November 18, 2022 – April 15, 2023 no vehicle shall be parked on any public street or way from 11:00p.m. to 7:00a.m. as per MRSA 29A Section 2068-2069 and the Bridgton Traffic Ordinance adopted January 10, 1995 and amended August 27, 1996 and October 25, 2005.
A town-wide parking ban may be called for with notification.
Vehicles may be towed at owner’s expense.
