NOTICE TO BIDDERS – INVITATION TO BID
Bridgton Sewer Main Extension Project
The Town of Bridgton, ME will receive separate sealed Bids for the expansion of their existing sanitary wastewater collection system. Work includes but is not limited to installation of gravity sewer, force main, and package pump stations on Smith Avenue, Maple Avenue, Ballard Street, South High Street, Sustainable Way, Efficiency Way, and Route 302.
A non-mandatory pre-Bid meeting will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday May 15, 2024 with both virtual and in-person attendance options. Bids will be received at the Owner’s office at 3 Chase Street, Suite 1, Bridgton, ME until 3:00 PM Wednesday June 5, 2024 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud. The Bidding Documents may be obtained electronically on or after May 8, 2024. Paper copies of the Bidding Documents will not be available. The Project is financed in part by the EPA Community Grant under Grant Number 00A001175 and through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) under assistance agreement 21.027. Compliance with Agency requirements and Federal requirements is required, including but not limited to American Iron and Steel requirements and Federal Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the United States Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon Act. Any person interested in Bidding on this Contract should thoroughly familiarize themselves with the requirements. Failure to comply with any of the conditions may result in the Bidder being determined non-responsive and therefore, not entitled to the award of this Contract.
