Cat and Dog First Aid / CPR Course

Do you know what to do if your pet has a medical emergency?

If you are a pet owner, pet walker, pet sitter, pet groomer, dog daycare employee, animal shelter employee or volunteer, Animal Control Officer, Firefighter, EMT, Police Officer, CART member, or just want to be prepared in case of a pet emergency, this course is for you!

Course topics include

Understanding pet ownership responsibilities, administering medicine, managing breathing and cardiac emergencies, managing first aid emergencies, treating wounds, electrical shock, caring for eye, paw, or ear injuries, and preparing for disasters.

Registration Fee: $80.00

Half of the registration cost is due at the time of registration; the balance must be paid on or before the start of the course. The registration fee includes course tuition, course book, and certificate of completion.

Location and Schedule

Safety will be a priority at this event. We will be in a very large indoor area and will maintain the minimum 6-foot social distancing guidelines.

This course is scheduled for Sunday, September 20th, 2020 at the Bridgton Old Town Hall at 26 N. High Street, Bridgton, ME 04009.

Class will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will run until 3:00 p.m. A short lunch break will be included. Lunch will not be provided, so please be sure to bring your lunch.
