NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
OAK STREET SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS TOWN OF BRIDGTON, MAINE
SEALED BID PROPOSALS DUE 3:00PM, FRIDAY, April 29, 2022
Sealed bids for the project named above will be received at the Town of Bridgton Community Development Office, 3 Chase Street Suite 1, Bridgton, Maine 04009 until 3:00 pm (prevailing time) on Friday, April 29, 2022. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Thereafter, bids will be opened in public and read aloud. Construction is expected to begin on June 1, 2022 and be substantially complete no later than September 1, 2022. In general, the project consists of construction of approximately 800 linear feet of new paved sidewalk, including installation of bituminous curb, paving and ADA improvements. The Project is being bid and any bids submitted are subject to the conditions set forth in Section X of the “Municipal Purchasing and Sale of Supplies, Materials, or Equipment Policy” approved 9/22/2015, as amended, and the resulting Contract is subject to the laws of the State of Maine. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on or after 9:00am on March 31, 2022 and on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents as described below.
ONLY electronic (PDF) copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the owners representative, during the hours indicated above or may be requested via e-mail and Dropbox. This project is being partially funded by HUD Community Development Block Grant funds. Davis-Bacon Federal Wage Rates apply to this project, please take notice to the wage rate determination attached to the bid documents.
