Streetscape Public Notice – Tuesday, March 3, 2020 LAMP POSTS

Beginning this week, contractors will be installing lamp post bases and poles along the north side of Main Street as long as weather permits.

There may be brief closures of sections of sidewalk during this installation, but the contractor will work to ensure access is restored as quickly as possible.  If any business or property owners have trouble accessing their buildings, please let us know so we can do whatever we can to address your concerns.

Clean up the Signs!

Most Bridgton residents know that a new Sign Ordinance went into effect on June 11, 2019 -but you may not be aware of some of the changes. It is important to review the ordinance to ensure you are not in violation.

In early Spring, Code Enforcement will be notifying those not in compliance and requiring removal. Take a moment now and ensure you are adhering to regulations.

Please contact Brenda Day, Code Enforcement Officer or Kari Downs, Administrative Assistant with any questions.
