Daily Construction Update for Thursday, September 26, 2019

Thursday September 26th, the contractor for the sewer construction project began to mobilize and repair some water service shut-off valves. Sewer construction is expected to ramp up in the next week or two. Updates for the sewer construction will be sent out separate from the Streetscape notices.

Sidewalk and curbing construction continues between Highland Street and Elm Street. Some additional paving is planned for Friday (9/27) in select areas where the pavement has been removed to install curbing and street light conduits.

Light pole bases should be installed towards the end of this week or early next week. The contractor is waiting on the arrival of some additional street light infrastructure components and as soon as those arrive they can begin pouring concrete for the sidewalks.

There will be brief closures of driveways as the conduit trench crosses each driveway but the contractor will work to ensure access is restored as quickly as possible.
