There will be a parking ban in Bridgton from Saturday, January 19th at 11:00 p.m. to Monday, January 21st at 7:00 a.m.

The Bridgton Municipal Offices at 3 Chase Street will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
The Offices will re-open for regular hours, 8AM – 4PM, on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.
The Municipal Offices are closing at 1PM today due to the potential of deteriorating weather conditions.
Selectboard Workshop scheduled for 5PM this evening has been cancelled.

Please be advised the Town of Bridgton is soliciting applications for the TOWN OF BRIDGTON MAINE & CUMBERLAND COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT CDBG PROGRAM for FFY 2019. Applications are due January 21, 2019 on or before 4 PM. Applications shall fall under the following types of projects/programs: Public Service, Public Infrastructure/Facility, Housing, Downtown Revitalization, or Economic Development. Applications must meet one of 2 national objectives: serving those with low/moderate income or for the elimination of slum and blight. Applications will be reviewed by staff and forwarded to the Community Development Committee for a recommendation and then forwarded to the Select Board for approval. It is not known as o. For Infrastructure project applications click here. For Public Service applications click here. Applicants are required to attend one MANDATORY “workshop” with Community Development staff to review requirements and project eligibility. There will be two opportunities with 2 different time slots to attend a workshop:

A warming center has been set up at the Bridgton Community Center, 15 Depot Street, Bridgton, beginning Wednesday, November 28, 2018 through Thursday, November 29, 2018 open 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., for people to take refuge from the cold.

The Municipal Officers of the Town of Bridgton will hold a Public Hearing at 5:30p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in the Downstairs Meeting Room located at 10 Iredale Street in Bridgton, Maine to take both written and oral comments regarding the Town’s intent to file a wastewater discharge permit modification application with the Maine Department of Environmental Protection (“MDEP”).
The Town in compliance with 38MRSA has notified the abutters of the proposed public hearing and filing.
A copy of the application will be made available for public inspection at the Town Office during regular business hours Monday through Friday from 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. The Town intends on submitting the application to MDEP the week of December 17, 2018.
