ABOUT

The Bridgton Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining and repairing the town’s infrastructure, including its roads and public ways. Public Works Director Jim Kidder also serves as sexton for Bridgton’s town-owned cemeteries.

Normal Hours (Oct. 16 – April 14):

Mon. – Fri. 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Summer Hours (April 15 – Oct. 15):

Mon. – Thurs. 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

JOB OPENINGS

The Public Works Department – Highway Division is accepting applications for the position of Laborer / Operator / Highway Crew. 

The individual will be responsible for manual labor tasks, maintenance of town roads and facilities, the operation of trucks, including snow plowing, sidewalk plows, front end loader and related motorized equipment as well as hand tools.  Applicant must possess at minimum, a valid State of Maine Class B Motor Vehicles Operator’s License.
