The Municipal Office, Public Works, and Transfer station will be closed from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23rd, for our annual staff wellness luncheon.

TOWN HALL GYM CLOSURE

The Town Hall Gym will be closed for the following dates:

May 23-25, 2022 – MSAD # 61 Budget Validation (School Vote May 24th 8A-8P)

May 26 to June 5, 2022 – Floor Refinishing

June 13-15, 2022 – Town of Bridgton Annual Town Meeting

* June 14, 2022 – Elections / Referendum Ballot (8:00AM – 8:00PM)

* June 15, 2022 – In Person Town Meeting (Action On Articles 7 through 31 7:00PM)

June 16 to August 16 – Summer Enrichment Program

*Town Hall Available after 6:00PM and Weekends*

The Town Hall Gym will reopen August 17, 2022 for normal weekly scheduled programming.

The Municipal Officers of the Town of Bridgton will hold a Public Hearing at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the Municipal Building located at 3 Chase Street, in Bridgton to hear public comment on the following questions that will be presented to the voters via referendum ballot on June 14, 2022:

Question 1.  Shall an ordinance entitled, “Town of Bridgton Senior Tax Assistance Ordinance,” be enacted?  (Note:  Copies of the text of this ordinance are available from the Town Clerk.)  Board of Selectmen Recommend a YES vote. click here

Question 2.  Shall an ordinance entitled “Town of Bridgton Ordinance Establishing a Moratorium on Commercial Solar Energy Facilities,” be enacted?  (Note:  Copies of the text of this ordinance are available from the Town Clerk.)  Board of Selectmen Recommend a YES vote. click here

Overnight Construction Work – May 8th – May 12th

Overnight Construction Notice

Beginning Sunday, May 8th through Thursday, May 12th, Sargent will be performing overnight construction (7:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.)  for the installation of sewer crossings across Route 302 near Sandy Creek Road, Willet Road and France Bell Drive. There will be not detours in place, but traffic will be reduce to one way traffic in the construction area.
